Thin Line Film Fest - Marquee at Campus Theater During 2007 Festival

Thin Line Film Fest is an international documentary film festival held in Denton, Texas - just north of Dallas / Fort Worth. The 7th Annual Thin Line Film Fest will be held February 2014. In addition to the annual festival, Thin Line programs great documentaries year-round at venues around Denton.

Our mission is to educate and entertain our audiences by presenting a diverse program of high quality, relevant documentary films.

This year, Thin Line proudly screened over 80 documentaries from around the world including the Texas Premiere of "Blood Brother," the Sundance-winning film that won over Thin Line audiences. We brought in over 50 filmmakers from around the world to attend their screening and all-together Denton audiences enjoyed over 10 days of documentary greatness.

All of this is set in the historic downtown square of Denton, TX. With two universities having a combined enrollment of 50,000+, the local scene is hip, edgy, and vibrant. Denton is one of the hottest music scenes in the country with plenty of places to sample a variety of sounds within a block or two of the festival. Thin Line screens at the historic Campus Theatre on the downtown square. Other events are held at unique venues within one or two blocks.
